Hello Foodie!

My name is Isabel Veguilla. I’m a Disney-lovin’ omnivore who likes to cook and bake international foods and desserts. I started cooking at the age of 11. I learned from my Mom who would tell me what to do at the stove when she was on crutches due to foot surgery. I also really loved making cakes, cookies, and cupcakes as a pre-teen and teenager. My creative side came out in cake decorating and making elaborate structures with cake and sugar. I made a castle cake for my Sweet 16 birthday party at home.

I want to connect with people and culture through food. My travels so far have taken me to Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, France, St. John, St. Thomas, Japan, and Mexico. My trips are enhanced by food tours, cooking classes, and other food-related experiences. Enjoying the local food of a new place is a huge thrill for me. I hope to have many more adventures.
